High Resolution Mass Spectrometry - Sample Submission

Sample Submission for HRMS measurements (direct injection):

  • Transfer your sample in HPLC vials with screw caps and label them with legible and solvent resist etiquettes(Please submit your samples as solution (0.1 – 0.5 mg/mL; at least 100 µL) in H2O, MeOH, (iso)propanol, acetonitrile, CH2Cl2 (max. 25 % in MeOH) or mixtures from those.)
  • Download, print and fill in the entry form
  • Find room 2F 345

  • Above the fridge (labeled 2F 345 Kühl A) is a folder (labeled Einreichformulare/entry forms HRMS) to submit filled entry forms.
  • In the fridge is a blue box (labeled Samples for HRMS measurements) to submit your samples.
  • After your samples have been analysed, you will receive an e-mail with the data sheets, which contain a comparison of the obtained and the simulated exact mass and isotopic pattern of the desired molecule.
  • The measured samples will be returned! They will be waiting next to the folder. Please pick them up, e.g. when you bring your next samples.
